Engineering Team Lead – Remote, $200k/year

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to drive the delivery of AI‑enhanced educational products. In this remote position you will split your time between hands‑on development of sophisticated features and mentoring a small team of 3‑5 engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex full‑stack features that serve as templates for the team.
• Conduct thorough pull‑request reviews with detailed, instructional feedback.
• Pair program and provide continuous coaching to raise engineering standards.
• Organize technical initiatives, break down specifications, and define quality benchmarks.
• Ensure the team adheres to defined quality standards and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience involving code reviews, mentoring, and setting team standards.
• Proven track record of delivering SaaS products.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into development workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to elevate the performance of other engineers.
