Electronic Technician

About the role

We are looking for a disciplined Electronic Technician to run our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line. The successful candidate will work on pick‑and‑place machines, reflow ovens, solder paste printers and AOI inspection systems, receiving full training on the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment during production runs.
• Load and calibrate machine programs for product changeovers.
• Perform in‑process quality checks and identify defects early.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of SMT tools.
• Maintain accurate production and traceability logs.
• Follow ESD and controlled‑environment protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (TS) minimum in Electronics, Electromechanics, or Industrial Electricity; LT accepted.
• Strong grounding in electronics fundamentals such as schematics, circuits, and components.
• Willingness to work full shifts in an underground, windowless facility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, detail‑oriented tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, soldering iron, and multimeter.
• Understanding of electronics schematics, circuits, and component identification.
• Operation of SMT equipment (pick‑and‑place, reflow oven, solder paste printer, AOI).
• Loading and calibrating machine programs for product changeovers.
• In‑process quality inspection and defect detection.
• Routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of SMT machinery.
• Adherence to ESD safety and controlled‑environment procedures.
