Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the financial management of Kempinski’s Beirut hotel, ensuring compliance with local and corporate policies, accurate forecasting and timely reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual business plan together with the General Manager and Executive Committee.
• Conduct monthly P&L meetings and monitor revenues and expenses, providing recommendations as needed.
• Prepare accurate monthly forecasts, quarterly self‑assessment reports and timely financial statements.
• Review cash position, optimise fund usage and maintain the hotel’s balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Act as the primary contact for auditors and implement audit recommendations.
• Ensure all contracts, leases, licences, insurance policies and legal documents are properly kept and compliant.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously seek new business opportunities and uphold a robust control environment.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CPA, ACA, ACCA or MBA (Financial) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Director of Finance within a 5‑star international hotel chain.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Arabic (local language) and English.
