About the role
The Diesel Engine Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel and gasoline engines and related equipment. Working closely with the service team, the mechanic ensures that all mechanical components function reliably and meet safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and rebuild defective mechanical parts in diesel and gasoline engines.
- Inspect and test equipment to locate damage, worn parts, and diagnose malfunctions.
- Check operating systems and perform corrective actions as needed.
- Complete customer reports and communicate findings to managers.
Required profile
- Proven ability to assemble, disassemble, and overhaul diesel engines.
- Experience using a variety of mechanical testing equipment and tools.
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Technical institute degree.
- Proficiency in English.
- Valid public driving permit.
