Data Analyst Internship

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join OLX Lebanon’s analytics team. This role offers hands‑on experience supporting daily data tasks, extracting insights and assisting with departmental projects in a fast‑growing online marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Use SQL to extract, analyze, and refine data from databases in support of business requirements.
• Use Python to clean, structure, and organize raw data from various sources.
• Analyze datasets to identify basic trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create clear and simple charts and visualizations with Python to communicate findings.
• Prepare and structure data for reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform basic data validation checks before analysis or reporting.
• Assist the team with small data‑related tasks and ad‑hoc requests.
• Prepare datasets for Power BI or Tableau dashboards.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Data Analytics program.
• 0‑1 years of experience as a Data Analysis intern or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python for data work.
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player dedicated to supporting the department.
