Cybersecurity Technical Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Technical Manager leads the Security Operations Services (SOS) department, ensuring the organization’s security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, and compliance activities are executed at the highest level. This senior position works closely with executive leadership to translate the cybersecurity strategy into effective operational delivery for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish governance, policies, standards and frameworks for security operations.
• Lead and mentor SOS teams, providing direction, resources and performance metrics.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, offensive assessments, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate major incident response, post‑incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring emerging threats and evaluating new security tools.
• Represent the organization in external cybersecurity forums and client engagements.
• Provide technical expertise during presales activities and customer security assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security operations or similar cybersecurity teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to advise executive management on risk and emerging threats.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of implementing governance, metrics and continuous‑improvement programs.
