Country Director – Lebanon

About the role

Right To Play is seeking a Country Director to lead its Lebanon programme. The role provides overall strategic, programmatic and operational leadership, ensuring growth, compliance and impact across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organisation and ensure good governance (approx. 20% of time).
• Lead fundraising, donor communication and resource mobilisation (approx. 20%).
• Develop and implement the country strategy, aligning with global objectives (approx. 15%).
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, financial management and risk mitigation (approx. 15%).
• Manage staff, promote a safe and inclusive workplace and drive performance (approx. 15%).
• Provide programme oversight, foster learning, innovation and ensure quality delivery (approx. 15%).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business administration, social sciences, development studies or related field.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in an international development or child‑focused organisation.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising and managing programmes in stable and fragile contexts.
• Strong understanding of local and international legal, regulatory and cultural dynamics.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
