Cost Controller – Food Manufacturing

About the role

Hallab 1881 is looking for a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join its food manufacturing team in Tripoli, Lebanon. You will monitor inventory, calculate product costs, and provide data‑driven insights that help maximise profitability across the company’s confectionery and catering lines.

Key responsibilities

• Costing of all products, recipes, manufactured items and catering services.
• Calculate selling prices, conduct price reviews and support pricing decisions.
• Perform menu engineering and profitability analysis.
• Review and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost new product introductions.
• Analyse margins by item and assess cost impact of raw‑material price changes.
• Maintain and verify price lists, posting inventory counts and investigating variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2‑3 years experience as a Cost Controller or Cost Accountant in food manufacturing, catering or F&B operations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with specialised F&B inventory and ERP software.
