Corporate Lawyer – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

Farid El Khoury Law & Associates is looking for a qualified Corporate Lawyer to join its Beirut office. The successful candidate will work on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, supporting both local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, including structuring and execution.
• Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for acquisitions, investments and restructurings.
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements such as share purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and day‑to‑day corporate matters.
• Support the establishment of companies, branches and subsidiaries, handling all required filings and registrations.
• Assist clients in obtaining regulatory approvals, licenses and authorizations.
• Prepare corporate documentation and organise board of directors and shareholders’ meetings.
• Provide ongoing commercial and corporate advisory services to a diverse client base.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Avocat à la Cour in corporate law.
• LLB and a Master’s degree in law with a focus on corporate law.
• Fluency in Arabic, English and French (professional level).
• Prior experience in a law firm.
• Strong analytical, drafting and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding environment.
