Computer Science Instructor

About the role

EdTech Plus Lebanon is seeking a passionate Computer Science Instructor to deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in programming, AI fundamentals, robotics and related technologies. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and focuses on fostering a learner‑centered environment for students in Zalqa.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans covering coding, AI basics, robotics, and core IT concepts.
• Guide practical lab sessions and hands‑on projects, ensuring students apply theoretical knowledge.
• Assess learner progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Provide academic support and maintain a collaborative classroom atmosphere.
• Coordinate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum.
• Stay updated on developments in computer science and educational technology.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science or Informatics with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, preferably in computer science or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, or a closely related discipline.
• Effective communication skills and a learner‑centered, inclusive approach.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Zalqa and collaborate with a diverse team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of AI fundamentals and robotics concepts.
• Understanding of computer systems, networks, and basic cybersecurity.
