Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist will join the multidisciplinary team at Ain Wazein Medical Village to ensure safe, effective, and evidence‑based medication use for hospital patients. Working on‑site in Ain Ouzain, the pharmacist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and other health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders, optimizing pharmacotherapy.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and comprehensive medication reviews.
• Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications and adjust doses based on clinical parameters.
• Provide therapeutic drug monitoring and support antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Counsel patients and families on proper medication use, adherence, side effects and storage.
• Participate in clinical rounds, develop treatment protocols and manage the hospital formulary.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and staff education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD or master’s degree preferred.
• Valid license/registration to practice as a pharmacist in Lebanon (or eligibility for licensure).
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a hospital environment.
