Cardiac Sonographer

About the role
The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to support the diagnosis and management of heart conditions. Working closely with cardiologists, you will ensure high‑quality images and patient comfort throughout the examination process.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct transthoracic and, when required, transesophageal echocardiograms according to cardiologists’ orders.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort during imaging.
- Assist cardiologists in generating preliminary reports and documenting findings.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance logs.
Required profile
- Proven ability to perform echocardiograms with high diagnostic quality.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
