Assistant Professor – Information Technology

About the role

The University Saint‑Esprit de Kaslik (USEK) seeks an Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate Information Technology courses and contribute to its mission of excellence in teaching, research, and community service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate IT courses.
• Supervise student master’s theses, internships, and practical teaching experiences.
• Engage in research, publications, and creative scholarly activities.
• Maintain course documentation for program review and accreditation.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees.
• Support student recruitment, advising, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with colleagues and pursue professional development.

Required profile

• PhD in Information Technology with expertise in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Software Development or Information Systems.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research, and service.
• Experience teaching at the higher‑education level in English.
• Record of international scientific publications.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Ability to secure external research funding and deliver online instruction.
