Assistant Branch Manager – Banking Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in delivering high‑quality banking services at our Mazraa location in Beirut. The role combines operational oversight, staff supervision, and customer‑focused service to help the branch meet its business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in daily branch operations and activity coordination.
• Supervise, coach and monitor performance of branch staff.
• Ensure efficient delivery of banking services and excellent customer service.
• Support achievement of branch business goals.
• Oversee cash operations, transaction processing and daily balancing.
• Review and authorize transactions within assigned limits.
• Maintain compliance with BDL regulations, AML/KYC requirements, internal policies and Islamic banking principles.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints and escalated issues.
• Monitor operational controls, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Prepare branch reports and track operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in branch operations.
• Strong knowledge of banking procedures, customer service standards and operational controls.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
