Architectural Engineer – Experience in U.S. Projects

About the role

We are seeking a remote Architectural Engineer to deliver complete drawing sets for U.S. clients on a project‑by‑project basis. Each assignment is paid with a fixed fee agreed before work begins.

Key responsibilities

• Produce full architectural drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
• Prepare permit sets and construction documents that follow U.S. standards, sheet conventions, and local zoning amendments.
• Coordinate drawings with structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes before submittal.
• Maintain clean, organized AutoCAD and Revit models, sheet sets, and version control.
• Apply relevant U.S. codes such as IBC, ADA, and energy codes, and respond to plan‑review comments, RFIs, and client mark‑ups with documented revisions.
• Create 3D views or presentation material when required and meet agreed project milestones while flagging schedule risks early.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as an architectural engineer with direct work on U.S. projects.
• Degree in architectural engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Strong command of AutoCAD and Revit, capable of working independently from concept through permit set.
• Practical knowledge of IBC, ADA, and how local jurisdictions amend them.
• Familiarity with the U.S. permit submittal and plan‑review process.
• Excellent written and spoken English for direct communication with project teams.
• Own hardware, licensed software, reliable high‑speed internet, and a dedicated workspace.
