AI Engineer – Java & React

About the role

Aspire Software is seeking an AI Engineer to design and build a delivery tracking module for its ERP system. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of data models, backend services, API integrations and the UI layer, working closely with a cross‑functional team in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a delivery tracking module covering shipment status ingestion, dispatch workflows, customer‑facing tracking views and notifications.
• Develop production‑grade features using Java and React, integrating them with the existing ERP backend.
• Leverage Claude Code and MCP‑based workflows to accelerate development across the codebase.
• Create AI‑assisted capabilities such as ETA prediction, exception detection, smart routing and natural‑language search over orders and shipments.
• Work with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD and AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, OpenSearch) to deploy and maintain the solution.
• Own the full lifecycle from data modeling and REST API design to event‑driven system implementation and UI integration.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience shipping production software.
• Strong ability to design data models, REST APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with large language model APIs (e.g., Anthropic) and AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Solid understanding of AWS fundamentals.
• Pragmatic, product‑mindset with ability to scope a module, ship a first version and iterate.
