After-sales Services Engineer

About the role

The After-sales Services Engineer provides on‑site and remote technical support for solar inverter projects, ensuring successful commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction. The role involves close interaction with clients, field teams, and the sales department to deliver technical expertise and product training.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑installation surveys and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot inverter issues on‑site, analyze project data, and document findings.
• Provide telephonic technical support and maintain up‑to‑date project records.
• Collect and analyse inverter performance data for post‑commissioning reports.
• Deliver product presentations at conferences and training sessions for customers.
• Conduct competitor analysis and share insights with the sales team.
• Follow up promptly on service requests and relay customer feedback for product improvement.
• Travel within the designated region as required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of power electronics, solar inverters, PV module fundamentals, and solar power plant operations.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunication (BE/B‑Tech/Diploma).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional under pressure and work independently.
