Accounting Team Lead

About the role

Toters is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company’s growth. The role combines leadership of a finance team with hands‑on oversight of the general ledger, month‑end close, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants, allocate tasks and monitor performance.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing, review journal entries and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and implement process improvements, support ERP automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and senior leadership to provide actionable insights and prepare reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
