Accountant – Full-time On-site in Beirut

About the role

This full-time, on-site Accountant position is based in Beirut, Lebanon. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial reporting and budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing.
• Assist with internal and external audits, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise financial records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and statement preparation.
• Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
• Ability to support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in humanitarian, relief, or development sectors is advantageous.
