VT Instructor (AC Refrigerator) – Grade 09 – Daily Paid Roster

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) seeks a VT Instructor specialized in Air‑Conditioning Refrigeration to join its Siblin and Nahr El Bared Training Centres. The position is graded at level 09 and operates on a daily‑paid roster, delivering both school‑based and work‑based vocational training.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of learning programmes, curricula, and training manuals for AC refrigeration.
• Organise and conduct occupational and competency analyses, integrating new technologies and career guidance.
• Facilitate classroom, laboratory, workshop and workplace training, ensuring inclusive delivery for trainees with disabilities.
• Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments, develop assessment tools and grids, and evaluate core skills and occupational health and safety competencies.
• Maintain links with employers, gather labour market information, and contribute to skills‑needs analyses and graduate trace studies.

Required profile

• Experience in vocational education and training (TVET) with a focus on AC refrigeration.
• Ability to design curricula, training materials and assessment instruments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety (OSH) standards.
• Excellent facilitation skills for adult learners, including those with special learning needs.
