Video Editor for Performance Marketing Ads

About the role

We are a US‑based performance marketing company creating short‑form direct‑response ads that drive real business results. As a Video Editor you will craft fast‑paced, hook‑driven videos that stop scrolls, hold attention for 30 seconds, and prompt viewers to call.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 15–20 short‑form ads per week for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Snapchat.
• Produce hook‑focused creative with strong first 3 seconds, hard cuts, zooms, and pattern interrupts.
• Build UGC‑style ads, testimonial edits, text‑on‑screen ads, and longer‑form video sales letters.
• Add captions, sound design, b‑roll, stock footage, motion graphics, and on‑screen text overlays.
• Create multiple variations of winning ads – new hooks, intros, and angles for testing.
• Incorporate direct feedback quickly and deliver revisions on tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience editing short‑form video, preferably for ads, social content, or a marketing agency.
• Ability to cut fast and prioritize turnaround over perfection.
• Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and timing to music.
• Fluent written and spoken English to understand US‑audience scripts.
• Reliable internet and backup power for daily output.
• Availability to overlap with US Eastern Time for feedback and calls.
• Comfortable working independently with a task list.

Required skills

• Professional video editing (fast cuts, hooks, motion graphics).
• Experience with AI tools such as ElevenLabs and Higgsfield.
• Basic motion graphics and animated text preset creation.
