Technical Support Engineer – Maintenance

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will join the Maintenance department of Liban Cables in Nahr Ibrahim. You will act as the primary technical contact, helping the maintenance team solve complex issues and supporting new project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to maintenance teams for problem solving.
• Prepare and monitor new project execution, including ordering goods and feasibility studies.
• Validate project completion and acceptance with relevant departments.
• Organise and deliver training sessions for the maintenance crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and Nexans regulations.
• Participate in local meetings and plant performance analysis.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance for all plant equipment.
• Manage subcontracting and outsourcing activities.
• Contribute to the department’s annual budgeting process.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance; experience with commissioning and startup of industrial machinery is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Arabic, English, and French.
• Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
