Technical Lead – Remote – $200k/year

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive quality and delivery of our AI‑powered educational products. In this remote position you will split your time between hands‑on development of sophisticated features and mentoring a small team of 3‑5 engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, reusable features that become templates for the team.
• Conduct pull‑request reviews with detailed, instructional feedback.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming and constructive guidance.
• Organise technical initiatives, break down feature requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Define quality benchmarks and enforce them across the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience.
• At least 2 years in a lead role involving code reviews, mentoring and establishing team practices.
• Proven track record of shipping SaaS products.
• Experience using AI tools within the development workflow.
• Demonstrated ability to help other engineers improve and grow.
