About the role

Fingerprints & Handprints is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Teacher to join its early childhood education team in Beirut. You will design and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based lessons that nurture children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
• Guide play‑based learning while maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment.
• Observe, document and communicate children’s progress to families and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align practices with the centre’s educational philosophy.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a related field.
• Experience working with young children in an early childhood or primary setting.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families and team members.

Required skills

• Ability to design inclusive, culturally sensitive classroom experiences.
• First aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
