Systems Engineer – Pre‑Sales (Lebanon)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to partner with our sales team across Lebanon. You will drive the technical side of the sales cycle, from initial inquiries through detailed proposals and proof‑of‑concepts, ensuring customers receive solutions that surpass competitor offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of enterprise sales cycles, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Manage projects and actively participate in proof‑of‑concepts with internal teams and customers.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Fortinet products and the competitive landscape.
• Present solutions remotely or on‑site using whiteboards, technical papers, and detailed plans.
• Handle multiple deals simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Record accurate technical activity and account information in Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude for security technologies such as encryption and authentication.
• Proven experience in a pre‑sales engineering role managing end‑to‑end technical deals.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills that contributed to key wins.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA‑1, DES, and 3DES.
• CISSP certification is a plus.
