Social Media Account Manager

About the role

The Social Media Account Manager will own the success and growth of assigned client accounts, focusing on organic social media strategy and execution. This role works evenings aligned with EST time zones and requires agency experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client relationships, building trusted partnerships.
• Define, own, and continuously refine account strategies that align with client business objectives and growth goals.
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities, proposing initiatives that drive client success.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring proper scoping, realistic timelines, and resource alignment.
• Lead project kick‑offs, monitor progress, and resolve risks or bottlenecks early.
• Coordinate internal teams (creative, content, strategy, traffic) to ensure clear brief communication and delivery quality.
• Maintain high‑quality standards for all deliverables and enforce internal approval processes.
• Track account performance, prepare monthly analytics reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 + years agency experience managing organic social media accounts.
• Availability to work evening/PM shifts aligned with the EST time zone.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues professionally.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on growth, upselling, and continuous improvement.
