Site Civil Engineer – Road & Highway Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead day‑to‑day operations on road and highway construction projects in Nigeria. The successful candidate will ensure that all site activities align with design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on‑site road construction activities.
• Verify that work meets design specifications, levels, alignment, and layout requirements.
• Track material deliveries, calculate quantities, and manage resource allocation.
• Coordinate daily with the Project Manager and provide regular progress reports.
• Manage foremen and site personnel to maintain productivity and safety.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a site engineer in road or highway construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
• Proven capability to lead and manage foremen and on‑site teams.
