Site Calibration Coordinator

About the role

The Site Calibration Coordinator is responsible for managing the full calibration lifecycle of gauges and instruments at a SCHOTT Pharma manufacturing site. The role ensures that all calibration activities meet ISO and cGMP requirements and supports audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain calibration quotes, create purchase requisitions in SAP, and schedule internal and external calibrations.
• Perform internal verifications, routine gauge maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain the gauge management system, archive certificates digitally and physically, and ensure accurate calibration records.
• Support Gage R&R studies, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in customer or regulatory audits and assist with gauge validation and qualification protocols.
• Train employees on proper gauge use and maintenance, and promote safety/EHS directives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• At least 2 years of experience in gauge management, calibration, or a quality‑related manufacturing role.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 15378, and cGMP standards.
• Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using SAP for procurement and documentation.
