Site Architect – On‑site Construction Management

About the role

Division9 is seeking a Site Architect to join its on‑site team. This full‑time position involves overseeing construction activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that all works meet high quality and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily progress reports and weekly summaries for internal and client review.
• Develop, update, and monitor the project time schedule.
• Coordinate project meetings and resolve issues with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Receive, inspect, and hand over trade‑by‑trade works from subcontractors, ensuring compliance before acceptance.
• Supervise site activities, conduct regular inspections, and enforce safety and quality requirements.
• Escalate delays or emergencies to management and enforce contractual obligations.
• Submit method statements, review shop drawings, and manage approvals with authorities.
• Organise site logistics, maintain drawing archives, and handle purchase orders for site needs.
• Document site decisions, prepare meeting agendas/minutes, and track follow‑up actions.
• Oversee quantity surveying activities with subcontractors and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage teams and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
