Service Engineer – Industrial Machines (Baghdad)

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Baghdad, responsible for the maintenance, installation and customer support of industrial machinery. The role involves on‑site work at client facilities, ensuring equipment operates reliably and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Install new machines, conduct test runs and train operators.
• Provide technical assistance by phone or email, including after‑hours support.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Travel internationally for installations, maintenance or training missions.
• Support the sales team with technical presentations and machine demonstrations.
• Sell spare parts, service contracts and labor hours to meet sales targets.
• Prepare daily technical reports for each job and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical maintenance service of industrial equipment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
• Commitment to safety standards and ISO requirements.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
