Senior Social Media Video Editor

About the role

Takeoff Marketing Group, a Montreal-based marketing agency serving clients in food, hospitality, construction and home services, is hiring a full-time remote Senior Social Media Video Editor based in Lebanon. The editor turns raw footage and creative briefs into polished videos for clients' organic social channels and paid ad campaigns, with a stated pay of $1,500 USD per month.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, and paid ad creatives with clear hooks, messaging and calls to action.
• Create variations of ad creatives to test openings, pacing, on-screen text and calls to action.
• Work with interviews, talking-head footage, product shots and B-roll, applying typography, subtitles, graphics and transitions consistently.
• Handle colour correction, audio cleanup, music selection and sound design.
• Adapt each edit to the client's brand, audience and campaign goals, and collaborate with the content and production team.
• Manage several edits, apply feedback accurately and meet agreed deadlines while keeping project files organised.

Required profile

• Proven experience editing short-form social content and paid video ads, with a strong portfolio.
• Bilingual English and French, able to understand dialogue and produce accurate subtitles in both languages.
• Own editing computer and reliable internet; availability for a full-time remote role starting as soon as possible.
• Advantages: agency experience, motion graphics skills and familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong judgment of music, sound effects, transitions and on-screen text.
