Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

The Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Engineer will plan, coordinate and control procurement and supply‑chain activities for materials, equipment and services, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, budgets and delivery schedules. The role works closely with engineering, projects, logistics, stores and warehousing teams to guarantee timely material availability and effective control throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Group procurement and supply‑chain strategies, policies and procedures.
• Review purchase requisitions, technical specifications, scopes of work, budgets and delivery dates.
• Prepare and review RFQs, enquiry packages, tender documents, purchase orders and service orders.
• Manage RFQ processes during bidding and execution, including quotation follow‑up, supplier clarifications and comparison sheets.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify local and international suppliers based on capability, quality, delivery reliability and commercial competitiveness.
• Conduct commercial evaluations, negotiate prices, payment terms, Incoterms, warranties and delivery schedules.
• Monitor procurement packages from enquiry through manufacturing, inspection, shipment, receipt and commercial close‑out.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in procurement and supply‑chain engineering.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, finance, logistics and quality.
• Strong understanding of procurement procedures, delegated authorities and ethical standards.
