Senior Procurement Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Supervisor to lead the strategic sourcing and supplier management of packaging materials across primary, secondary, tertiary, retail, gifting and promotional categories. The role will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Commercial, Production and Quality teams to ensure packaging solutions meet quality, sustainability and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify new packaging suppliers locally, regionally and internationally.
• Lead RFQ/RFP, tendering processes, commercial negotiations and supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, service levels and contractual agreements.
• Monitor market trends, raw‑material price fluctuations and supply risks.
• Manage existing supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop supplier scorecards, KPI tracking and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate on new packaging concepts, drive innovation and sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery coordination.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor agreements and pricing databases.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management, preferably in packaging or FMCG.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage complex supplier contracts.
• Strong understanding of food‑safety regulations and sustainability standards for packaging.
