Senior Performance Executive

About the role

Wavemaker is seeking a Senior Performance Executive to lead the activation and optimisation of client campaigns across digital channels. The role combines data‑driven insight, hands‑on Google Ads management and continuous testing to deliver measurable growth for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Drive best‑in‑class campaign activation, ensuring frequent optimisation and reporting according to best‑practice guidelines.
• Leverage data analysis to generate actionable insights that enhance strategy and client outcomes.
• Set up, optimise and manage Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, audience targeting, bidding strategies and performance analysis.
• Utilise Google Keyword Planner, Google Ads Editor and other campaign management tools to build, scale and maintain campaigns efficiently.
• Design and execute A/B tests, share results with the team and apply learn‑and‑scale approaches.
• Provide consistent support to senior team members and uphold internal processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of digital marketing developments and ensure client satisfaction through high‑quality deliverables and adherence to SLAs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong hands‑on experience in Google Ads campaign management.
• Proven ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests to optimise performance.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
• Commitment to staying current with digital marketing trends and best practices.
