Senior Designer

About the role

AKQA is looking for a Senior Designer to lead design vision across brand, digital, product, experience and campaign work for the MENA region. You will shape design systems, create compelling identities and prototypes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver transformative solutions for regional and global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive design, craft and execution with speed and pride, raising visual standards.
• Build scalable design systems and languages that work across channels.
• Focus on detail—spacing, alignment, typography, transitions, iconography, accessibility and responsiveness.
• Extend design intelligence to environments, packaging, installations and tech‑enabled experiences.
• Create culturally resonant work that can travel globally while landing locally in MENA.
• Own the end‑to‑end process from mood boards to production files and quality assurance.
• Collaborate fluidly with writers, strategists, technologists, AI tools and the wider AKQA network.
• Present design rationale, system choices and craft to clients clearly.

Required profile

• Senior‑level designer with a maker mindset and strong visual sensibility.
• Ability to think in systems rather than isolated assets.
• Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to world‑class execution.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
