Senior Creative Team (Art & Copy)

About the role

AKQA is looking for a Senior Creative Team member (Art & Copy) to lead the conception and execution of integrated ideas across brand, experience, product and innovation for the MENA region. You will work side‑by‑side with strategists, designers, technologists and producers to craft culturally resonant narratives that span film, social, product, experience and PR.

Key responsibilities

• Drive ideas from initial spark through to final production, ensuring a seamless blend of visual and verbal storytelling.
• Unify art direction and copywriting into a single, cohesive creative system without handovers or silos.
• Shape narratives that translate across multiple channels and adapt to local, regional and global cultural contexts.
• Leverage technology, AI and innovative tools to enhance creative output.
• Own the end‑to‑end process, guiding work from concept through launch and post‑launch evaluation.
• Mentor junior team members, raise creative standards and inject fresh references and energy into the room.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in both art direction and copywriting within an agency or similar environment.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think systemically and culturally.
• Hands‑on maker attitude combined with ownership of project outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to challenge briefs intelligently.

Required skills

• Expertise in visual storytelling and copy development.
• Ability to work across motion, interaction, and prototype formats.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and AI as creative tools.
