Senior Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis (Beirut, Lebanon)

About the role
IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the production of an acute humanitarian needs brief for Lebanon. Based in Beirut, the analyst will synthesize multiple data sources to deliver a concise, decision‑oriented product that supports humanitarian planning and donor allocation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the country‑level analysis project, ensuring alignment with IMPACT’s global analytical standards and timelines.
- Collect, review and consolidate secondary data from REACH assessments, UN agencies, INGOs and public datasets such as OCHA, FEWS NET and IPC.
- Evaluate data reliability, identify gaps and produce a short external brief that highlights priority needs across geographic and population groups.
- Collaborate with GIS, data management and design teams to integrate visual elements and ensure a user‑centered product.
- Maintain stakeholder mappings and networks to enhance contextual understanding and support joint analysis where appropriate.
Required profile
- Proven experience in humanitarian or development data analysis, preferably with exposure to acute needs assessments.
- Strong ability to work independently and coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Excellent written communication skills for producing high‑impact briefs.
