Senior Accountant

About the role

MOL (Money Over Line), a Lebanese fintech building a secure digital wallet for everyday payments, is strengthening its finance function behind its platform. It is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a growing team based in Beirut, working on the challenges of e-money and digital payments.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review accounting entries and reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Prepare financial reports and regulatory reporting
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting controls
• Support audits and ad-hoc analyses
• Work closely with operations and compliance teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience; fintech or financial services experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS)
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems
