Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare distribution company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support monthly and annual closings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Execute monthly closing and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on supplier and customer balances.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Support inventory and cost accounting, including stock reconciliation with the warehouse.
• Prepare VAT and other statutory filings in accordance with Lebanese regulations.
• Generate reports and support budgeting and variance analysis.
• Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documents.
• Record transactions and produce reports using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
• Strong Excel skills.
