Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare distribution company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support monthly and annual closing processes. The role works closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Lebanese regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Execute monthly closing and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on supplier and customer balances.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Support inventory and cost accounting, including stock reconciliation with the warehouse.
• Prepare VAT and other statutory filings in line with Lebanese regulations.
• Generate reports and support budgeting and variance analysis.
• Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
• Advanced Excel skills.
