Senior (A2P) SMS Account Manager

About the role

Rutatel Technologies is seeking a Senior (A2P) SMS Account Manager to join its Beirut office. You will be responsible for managing and expanding key client accounts in the A2P messaging space, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee client onboarding, monitor traffic and performance, and optimize routing on direct operator connections.
• Develop account growth strategies, prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms in coordination with sales and technical teams.
• Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery rates, pricing, and overall experience.
• Collaborate closely with operations, billing, and support teams to maintain accurate reporting, timely invoicing, and a seamless end‑to‑end client experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in A2P SMS, messaging platforms or telecommunications, with solid knowledge of routing, HLR and MNP services.
• Demonstrated account management success, handling key accounts and meeting revenue growth targets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of interpreting traffic data, KPIs and commercial reports.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beirut, collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
