Seasonal Kitchen Commis

About the role

We are looking for a seasonal Kitchen Commis to join our brigade in Beirut. The role involves supporting the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assisting with food presentation and maintaining a clean, hygienic work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen equipment and ensure it is ready for use.
• Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items.
• Prepare simple food items and plates for service.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
• Maintain storage areas and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Clean kitchen workstations, equipment and handle waste and linen.
• Uphold high standards of personal and kitchen hygiene.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions and follow safety procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; HACCP certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a food‑and‑beverage kitchen environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team, stay organized under pressure and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Food preparation and mise en place.
• Operation of kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
