Reporting & Scheduling Specialist

About the role

The Reporting & Scheduling Specialist will be based in Damascus, Syria, and will oversee the development, maintenance, and control of project schedules across OSP, ISP, Data Center, and Exchange activities. The role ensures accurate reporting and provides analytical insights to support project visibility and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for all implementation phases.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline schedules and identify variances.
• Prepare schedule forecasts, delay analyses, mitigation plans, and recovery schedules in coordination with project teams and contractors.
• Consolidate progress data from multiple regions, contractors, and departments into centralized reporting structures.
• Create weekly, monthly, and KPI‑aligned progress reports for management and client stakeholders.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, advanced Excel trackers, and visual reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP systems, client portals, databases, and internal platforms.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, permitting, implementation, and contractor teams to align schedules.
• Validate contractor progress submissions and integrate them into master schedules.
• Support automation and digitalisation of reporting processes.
• Conduct schedule and reporting audits to detect discrepancies.
• Prepare executive‑level presentations and analytical insights for decision‑making.
• Monitor project dependencies, risks, and critical path activities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in schedule monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional engineering, design, and contractor teams.
• Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and KPI reports.
