Quality Control Representative (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Quality Control Representative ensures that furniture production meets the highest standards of quality, progress, and efficiency. Working primarily on the production floor, you will perform regular inspections, document findings on an iPad, and follow up on corrective actions to keep the line running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect furniture at each production stage and upon completion, checking workmanship, finishing, assembly, dimensions, materials, and overall quality.
• Identify defects, damages, inconsistencies, or incomplete work and record issues with digital checklists, photos, and notes.
• Monitor production orders throughout the day, flag delays, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and report time‑sensitive issues.
• Observe employee work practices to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct final quality checks before products leave the department and verify they meet specifications.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on order readiness, delays, and logistics impacts.
• Complete daily digital QC and production checklists, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular updates for management.

Required profile

• Experience in quality control, furniture manufacturing, production, carpentry, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot quality issues.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and interacting with production staff.
• Good organizational and follow‑up abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with iPad or tablet‑based digital reporting systems.
• Ability to use digital checklists and capture photographs for documentation.
