Purchasing Manager

About the role

Le Vendôme Beirut, a flagship luxury hotel of the Accor group, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead its procurement function. The role ensures the timely availability of goods and services while supporting the hotel’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all hotel procurement and purchasing activities, from request to delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal quality, price, and terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and explore new sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and local regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with departments to maintain optimal stock, and minimize waste.
• Review purchase requests, issue purchase orders, and track timely delivery of materials.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Housekeeping and other departments to meet operational needs.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Support inventory audits and contribute to budgeting and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of purchasing or procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management and contract negotiation.
• Experience with hotel procurement systems.
