Prospect Research Manager

About the role

The Advancement Entity is seeking a Prospect Research Manager to lead operational prospect research for its Advancement Operations Department. Based primarily on the Beirut campus, the role supports frontline fundraisers with high‑quality data and insights to drive donor strategy and campaign pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Set research priorities, assign projects, and monitor quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Vice President for Advancement on prospect discovery and strategic donor cultivation.
• Oversee identification, qualification, and profiling of individual, corporate, foundation, and alumni prospects.
• Utilize tools such as WealthEngine, iWave, LinkedIn, Foundation Directory Online, and internal CRM data to assess giving capacity.
• Produce donor profiles, wealth screenings, and executive briefings for fundraisers and university leadership.
• Support moves‑management and track prospect engagement using Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Contribute to campaign pipeline development, reporting, and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the prospect research team, including coordination with the New York research unit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in advancement research, prospect strategy, or fundraising analytics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with prospect research tools and CRM systems, preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Strong analytical, writing, and project‑management abilities.
