Proposal Specialist – Commercial Estimator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist to join a multinational team supporting commercial facilities. The role involves reviewing technician reports, validating repair scopes, and creating professional client proposals that are accurate, competitive, and profitable across multiple trades.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze technician reports, photos, videos, and diagnostics for technical accuracy.
• Validate repair scopes, labor, materials, equipment, permits, and pricing.
• Review subcontractor quotes, eliminate unnecessary costs, and close scope gaps.
• Prepare clear, client‑facing proposals that include scope, methodology, exclusions, and warranties.
• Research market pricing for materials, equipment, and specialty services.
• Ensure estimates meet client agreements and company margin targets.
• Identify project risks and incorporate appropriate exclusions.
• Contribute to improving estimating standards, pricing databases, templates, and proposal quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance, estimating, construction, or related trades.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, roofing, flooring, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Proven ability to prepare commercial estimates and review technician reports.
• Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail.
