Project Officer – Humanitarian Projects

About the role

The Project Officer will support the efficient implementation of project and grant activities for World Vision in Lebanon. This role ensures coordination of field operations, compliance with donor requirements, and effective partnership management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement assigned activities in line with weekly work plans and guidance from the Project Coordinator.
• Supervise field staff and casual workers to ensure safe, organized, and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, safeguarding standards, and operational procedures.
• Identify and address implementation challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, suppliers, and community representatives to facilitate smooth activity delivery.
• Assist in procurement and logistical follow‑up of items and services within approved budgets.
• Support data collection, documentation, and reporting processes to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Maintain effective communication with the Project Coordinator and relevant teams regarding progress, challenges, and field updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating project or grant activities in humanitarian or development settings.
• Ability to supervise field teams and manage relationships with partners and community representatives.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, safeguarding principles, and organizational policies.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to address operational challenges.
