Partnerships Manager (P-4) – UNICEF, Beirut

About the role

The Partnerships Manager (P‑4) will report directly to the UNICEF Representative in Beirut and will lead the development and implementation of partnership strategies that enhance UNICEF’s visibility and influence across the MENA region. The role focuses on deepening collaboration with key stakeholders, conducting environmental scanning, mobilising resources and shaping policy to support UNICEF’s mission for children.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute work plans aligned with UNICEF’s partnership strategy, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of results.
• Identify, negotiate and broker new partnership and resource‑mobilisation agreements in collaboration with programme teams.
• Screen and manage inquiries from potential partners, facilitating communication with appropriate UNICEF units.
• Support senior advisers and senior management in setting annual priorities, performance targets and monitoring progress.
• Lead, coach and supervise a team of staff, establishing clear objectives and providing guidance to achieve high performance.
• Conduct environmental scanning and knowledge exchange to inform policy influence and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Authoritative expertise in partnership development and resource mobilisation, preferably within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Proven experience managing complex projects and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative approaches to advance UNICEF’s objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
