Partnership & Advocacy Coordinator

About the role

Trócaire is seeking a Partnership & Advocacy Coordinator to strengthen collaboration with local partners in Lebanon and Syria. Based in Beirut, the role will support advocacy initiatives and project coordination across the organisation’s partnership portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support partners in planning and implementing advocacy initiatives aligned with programme priorities.
• Provide technical guidance on stakeholder mapping, influencing strategies, messaging, and advocacy action plans.
• Contribute to the design of advocacy components, including Theories of Change and strategic frameworks.
• Develop and review research Terms of Reference and monitor partner‑led research outputs.
• Produce advocacy materials such as briefs, presentations, talking points, and event content.
• Track and document advocacy activities, outcomes, and learning to inform capacity‑building.
• Coordinate programme and project activities with partners in Lebanon and Syria, ensuring follow‑up on workplans and deliverables.

Required profile

• Experience supporting advocacy and partnership work in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of advocacy processes, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and travel within the region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
